ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (CLINICAL), ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (CLINICAL AND COMMUNITY ASPECTS), TWO JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (NEUROCHEMISTRY), ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (MOLECULAR GENETICS), ONE COMMUNITY LIASON WORKER, ONE PROJECT COORDINATOR.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts on contract basis for an international R01 project funded by the National Institute on Ageing/National Institutes of Health (NIA/NIH), USA (Grant Award No.: 1R01AG060610-01A1) entitled "India ENIGMA Initiative for Global Ageing & Mental Health" under Dr. John P. John, Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.
A. Description : One junior research fellow (clinical) position is available for candidates having MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Masters in Psychology/Masters in Cognitive Neurosciences with a good academic record. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Essential qualification : MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Masters in Psychology/Masters in Cognitive Neurosciences with a good academic record
Desirable qualification: Clinical experience in Neuropsychology, Geriatric mental health and Fluency in multiple languages (preferably Kannada, Telugu, Hindi or Tamil).
Salary: 42,000 pm

B. Description: One junior research fellow (Clinical & Community aspects) position is available for candidates having MPhil in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social work/Masters in Psychology or Social work. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Essential qualification:MPhil in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Social work/Masters in Psychology or Social work.
Desirable qualification: Clinical experience in Geriatric mental health, Clinical experience in Social work or community activities, Conversant in Kannada and other South Indian languages, and proficiency in written English
Salary: 42,000 pm.

C. Description: Two junior research fellows (Neurochemistry) positions are available for candidates having First class Post Graduate Degree in M.Sc. Biotechnology / M.Sc. Biochemistry / M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry/ M.Sc. Neuroscience, including the integrated PG Degree in these disciplines. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Essential qualification:First class Post Graduate Degree in M.Sc. Biotechnology /M.Sc. Biochemistry / M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry/ M.Sc. Neuroscience, including the integrated PG Degree in these disciplines
Desirable qualification: Experience in processing of blood samples, biomarker metabolomics/gut-microbiome/handling mass spectrometry/ molecular techniques (including ELISA/Western blotting) analysis of clinical data along with basic bioinformatics.
Salary: 38,500 pm.

D. Description: One junior research fellow (Molecular genetics) position is available for candidates having M.Sc./M. Tech/MPhil in Life Sciences/Genetics/Biotechnology/Neurosciences; Prior exposure to molecular biology wet lab methods such as PCR and Genotyping. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.

E. Description: One Community Liaison Worker position is available for candidates having Graduate degree with at least 5 years of documented community field experience; Willingness to carry out field visits in Bangalore city and sub-urban regions for participant recruitment. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.

Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate.

Description (01): One junior research fellow positions is available for candidates having M.Sc. OR M. Tech in Life sciences/Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering/Cognitive and Neuroscience with a good academic record. The appointments will be a fixed-term position initially for six (6) months.
Essential qualification (01): Postgraduate degree in Biostatistics /statistics / applied statistics /medical statistics/health statistics.
Desirable (01): Experience in working theoretical statistics on longitudinal cohort studies and able to do analysis with advanced statistical methods. Proficiency in statistical analysis and simulation using statistical packages like STATA or R software.
Description (02): One junior research fellow positions is available for candidates having biostatistics /statistics / applied statistics /medical statistics/health statistics expertise to work in this program. The appointments will be a fixed-term position initially for six (6) months.
Essential qualification(02): Postgraduate degree in Biostatistics /statistics / applied statistics /medical statistics/health statistics.
Desirable(02): Hands-on experience with neuroimaging research.
